Although we offer services similar to a bank, the credit union philosophy is quite different. As a non-profit financial cooperative, WESTCO Federal Credit Union is owned by our members - not stockholders. Our credit union is committed to providing the highest quality service to our membership through fairness, convenience, efficiency, and personal service. We maintain our financial stability and growth while operating under our guiding philosophy of “member helping member”.

WESTCO Federal Credit Union was started in 1969 to serve all employees and elected or appointed officials of Westmoreland County .  We have expanded our field of membership to serves individuals and their family members who are associated with any organization within our field of membership. Family members include parents, grandparents, children, siblings and step-family members and immediate household members.
